West City Baseball Club Open Day & Registrations will be taking place on the 25th & 26th of September 2010 for players, coaches and officials wishing to take part in the 2010/2011 season, and for those who are keen to find out more about the sport of baseball.

TE ATATU - The West City Baseball Club has just received two brand new canopies from Kwik-N-Ezy Canopies, thanks to a generous grant from ASB Community Trust, for use as dugouts for players of all grades using West City's McLeod Park fields throughout the upcoming baseball seasons.
The canopies have recently been completed, and the club look forward to utilising them in their upcoming Open Day on the 25th & 26th of September and throughout the 2010/2011 season. Both canopies are printed with the West City Baseball Club logo and website, and are a welcome addition to the club.

2011 Baseball NZ National Club Championships dates announced
Top NZ club teams for 2011 in five age groups to be crowned February 25th - 27th 2011
AUCKLAND, New Zealand (August 20, 2010) – Baseball New Zealand is proud to announce the dates for the 2011 Baseball New Zealand National Club Championships to be played February 25-27 at Lloyd Elsmore Baseball Complex in Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga, and Crossfield Reserve, Glendowie, in Auckland. The tournament will consist of New Zealand Baseball club champions in the Under-11 through Under-18 and adult age groups.
Established in 2006, the West City Baseball Club has captured four of the five possible Baseball New Zealand National Club Championships. In 2010, West City defeated Howick Pakuranga in the final 13-9, which resulted in the league's first four-time National Champions.
The teams will play matches Friday, February 25 through Sunday, February 27 to determine who will advance to play for the national title. Round robin matches and times are yet to be scheduled. Teams will earn two points for a win, and no points for a loss. The team with the most points at the conclusion of Saturday's play will advance to play for the national championship on Sunday, February 27.
